My wife, my four kids
and I, live on a small farm at the foothills of the Appalachian
Mountains in rural Alabama. For us, farm life has been the perfect
environment for bringing up four kids. Our farm was formerly a
cattle farm, but since we bought the place in 2002, it's mostly been a
hobby farm. We've had horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks,
geese... and of course BULLDOGS.
We've been involved
in Bulldogs since 1994. Over the years our bulldogs have brought a
lot of fun and laughs into our life. If you've ever owned a
Bulldog, I'm sure I don't have to explain what I mean. I think
they are just the funniest little things.
Why we're different
than other Bulldog websites...
Years ago, we adopted
a philosophy that drives our approach to this website. It's
actually quite simple, but we seem to be the only one doing it.
GIVE OUR WEBSITE VISITORS THE CHANCE TO REALLY
GET TO KNOW THE PUPPIES THAT WE OFFER.
We recognize that the
majority of people who buy puppies off of the internet, never get to
see, touch, smell the puppy that they are buying until it arrives at
their home. That's really unfortunate. So we made the
decision a long time ago that, since that was the case, we were going to
equip our website visitors with TONS of great pictures of every puppy
that we sell. And that we were going to give lengthy descriptions
about each puppy.
If you browse around
the internet at some of the English Bulldog websites that are out there,
you've probably noticed a trend that we find disturbing. Most of
the English Bulldog puppies that are being sold on the web offer little
more than a couple pictures and, if you're lucky, one sentence about the
puppy. We think that's wrong.
Your Bulldog will be
a cherished friend and family member for years to come. With that
in mind, shouldn't you feel like you really know that puppy before you
make it a member of your family?
That's why every
puppy that we offer on this site gets it's own puppy page. On that
page, you'll see a whole bunch of pictures. And I promise that
you'll see "real" pictures here. That means pictures of
puppies out playing in wide open spaces.
I promise that we'll
never insult your intelligence by trying to sell you a puppy on the
strength of those cheesy pictures that almost all breeder websites
use. You know the ones... where they stick the poor scared puppies
up in front of some artificial background. How are we
supposed to get any indication about the puppy's personality and
disposition from that kind of picture?
Our approach is to
let our puppies do what all Bulldogs like to do best - PLAY. And
we take our pictures while the puppies are in that playing process. Yes,
it takes longer. A LOT LONGER to do it this way. But
it makes all of the difference in the world when it comes to helping our
visitors get to know the personality of each puppy.
We also make it a
point to give lengthy descriptions and comments about each puppy.
Let's face it. Each puppy has a different personality. We
try to help our visitors understand the things that make each puppy
unique and special.
Whether you buy a puppy from
